I suspect it’s just the way they’re coded, but if there’s a work-around, that would be just peachy. Once running, they haven’t been able to find the target OS on HDD for repair, at least in my testing. Windows repair CDs (their ISOs, actually) can be loop-mounted and booted. Any suggestions and/or fixes would be very welcome. User interest shows, booting disk images on UEFI systems requires a lot more boot tool developers attention, both in Linux and Windows world, especially given the fact PC & laptop sales are growing again.There are a couple of things I haven’t been able to get working, so the “Swiss Army” flash drive isn’t perfect. It also shows btw, how many folks are interested to keep booting various service images to RAM from HDD - the option so familiar with Grub4DOS on BIOS PCs, but much less available on UEFI PCs due to under-developed tools - instead of following the MS footsteps of now suddenly booting everything from USB Flash, even though for years they blocked that option either.

I recommend using grub4dos 0.4.6a as use by RMPrepUSB (note: there are two completely different versions one for Legacy only as used by RMPrepUSB and one for UEFI only. The full path and filename of the ISO file must not contain spaces. Use a November 2014 or later version of grub4dos. The USB drive must be formatted as FAT32 or ext2/3/4 - NOT NTFS. Here is how to boot directly from a CentOS 7 or Fedora 20 ISO file using grub4dos.
